Apple’s list of vintage and obsolete products have been updated

Each year, Apple updates its list of vintage and obsolete products. In Apple’s terms, products are considered vintage when Apple stopped distributing them for sale more than five and less than seven years ago. Once Apple stops distributing products for sale more than seven years ago they move to obsolete status.

Apple has added the Apple Watch Series 4, 2019 15-inch MacBook Pro and iPhone X and iPhone XS to the list of vintage products over recent months.

If you’re wondering whether a device you have is now vintage or obsolete, Apple regularly updates a list of vintage and obsolete Apple products.

Same – I just got my MessagePad and eMate out for a play. Such cool tech – in many ways a decade or more ahead of their time.
