A slip up by Logitech strongly suggests we’ll be seeing updates to Apple’s iPad Pro range. Apple work’s close with Logitech on the Crayon – a third-party Apple Pencil that closely mimics the functions of the OG.
The accidental ‘leak’ was revealed by 9to5 Mac with someone spotting references to a 6th generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch and 4th-gen 11-inch iPad Pro. Those references were swiftly removed.
The expected upcoming iPad event is likely to include updates for the base level iPad, replacing its now legacy Lightning port with USB-C, bringing it closer in line with new European Union rules. And I’d not be surprised to see the iPad Pro to get a processors bump, possibly to one of the new M12-series units that made their way into the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
