While the Apple Watch comes in three main models, there are variants for each model depending on where you are in the world. This is because cellular data standards are not the same in every country. Different parts for the world use different frequencies for cellular communications and this means devices have specific radios and antennae to accomodate local networks.
If you’re planning on buying an Apple Watch from an overseas vendor, be sure you get a model that will work on your country.
