We tend to take cloud services, such as iCloud, for granted. Companies like Apple invest billions of dollars in deploying systems and infrastructure that are designed to run continuously and maintain availability no matter what. But there are times when services fail. Here’s how to check the status of Apple’s online services.
Apple maintains a System Status page that provides a traffic light report of all its cloud services. All up, it provides the status for 65 different services (at the time of writing). Who knew there were so many different Apple online services?
To check the status of Apple’s online services, simply visit https://www.apple.com/au/support/systemstatus/.
Every service is listed and you can quickly check if a problem you’re seeing is a system problem with Apple or something more local.
