Leaks confirm Apple is preparing new iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, Vision Pro and folding iPhone

Earlier this week, we reported on a number of rumoured products coming from Apple in the not-too-distant future. A series of leaks confirm that Apple is preparing for the imminent release of iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, Vision Pro and the much anticipated folding iPhone.

M5 iPad Pro

Russian tech channel Wylsacom claims to have their hands on a M5-powered 13-inch iPad Pro. The updated nit seems to be a prerelease unit as it came in the same packaging at the current model and lacks the usual regulatory details printed on electronics.

Wylsacom’s unit shipped with a USB-C cable that is colour-matched to the iPad and a more powerful 45W power adapter – a boost on the 20W that shipped with the M4 iPad Pro.

There’s an unboxing video that goes into benchmarks and other details.

FCC filings suggest the following new models are coming.

  • A3357 — 11-inch Wi-Fi iPad Pro.
  • A3358 / A3359 — 11-inch Cellular iPad Pro models.
  • A3360 — 13-inch Wi-Fi iPad Pro.
  • A3361 / A3362 — 13-inch Cellular iPad Pro models.

FCC leaks new MacBook Pro and Vision Pro

When new electronics are released they must comply with a bunch of regulations that are signed off by some authority. In the USA, that’s the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The FCC filings were published this week by the FCC despite Apple asking for them to be kept private. The filing for the Vision Pro references a “Head Mounted Device” that is designated with model number A3416.

The updated Vision Pro gets a processor bump but a major redesign seems to be some way off.

Filings for the MacBook Pro reference model A3434. This is expected to be an M5-powered MacBook Pro. Interestingly, the filings show the new MacBook Pro coming with Wi-Fi 6 while the iPad Pro refresh will bring Wi-Fi 7.

The folding iPhone gathers momentum

A report at ChousnBiz, Lee Cheong, president of Samsung Display, said that mass production of a folding OLED display is accelerating. While not mentioning Apple specifically, he noted this is for a “large North American’” customer.

Samsung is widely known to be the provider of Apple’s folding display.

The timeline suggested by Cheong points to the release of the folding iPhone coming around the traditional iPhone release cycle. That means we are likely to see the folding iPhone in September 2026.
