iPhoneOS 17 will be available this spring as a free software update for the following iPhones:

- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 mini
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 mini
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 11
- iPhone 11 Pro
- iPhone 11 Pro Max
- iPhone XS
- iPhone XS Max
- iPhone XR
- iPhone SE(2nd gen or later)
And, or course, by the time iOS 17 is released – Apple usually has its public release for the latest version of iOS in the third week of September – the iPhone 15 will either have been announced or will be imminently.
