Apple has bumped up the price of iCloud storage in some countries and regions. And while the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and South America are on Apple’s hit list, it’s a fair bet that other regions including Australia will be seeing a hike in the coming months.
The rises in those regions are in the order to 20% and follow increases in other regions in recent times. Australia last saw its prices increase in October 2022.
In October 2022, Apple Music’s individual and family plans, moving from $11.99 and $17.99 to $12.99 and $19.99 per month respectively. Apple TV jumped by $2.00 from its old $7.99 monthly fee. Apple One – the iCloud service that connects all of Apple’s cloud services including Fitness+, News+, Private Relay and more used to cost $19.95, $25.95, and $39.95 but jumper to $21.95 for Apple One Individual, $28.95 for Apple One Family, and $42.95 for Apple One Premier.
While Australia isn’t included in the recent increases, many local Apple users have accounts from other regions so they may be impacted.
