Apple is rolling out the software updates thick and fast. macOS Sequoia has been updated to version 15.6. The timing suggests we might get one more update to Sequoia before macOS 26 Tahoe is released. Here’s what’s new in macOS 15.6.
As is the case with most software updates, security fixes are a big part of what’s changed. The list of security changes in macOS 15.6 Sequoia includes fixes to permissions issues that could give an attacker root level access too your system, the potential for an app to cause a denial of service and various code vulnerabilities that attackers could exploit under specific circumstances.
Apple’s release notes for macOS Sequoia 15.6 don’t provide a lot of detail.
This update provides important bug fixes and security updates and is recommended for all users.

To update your Mac, go to System Settings | General | software Update. As always, I recommend enabling Automatic Updates to ensure your Mac stays up to date.
