Apple continues to push out the beta versions of its new versions of macOS, iPadOS and iOS. The two week release cycle of the early betas has given way to weekly updates with Release Candidates a probably only a week or so away.
As expected at this stage of the development cycle, the release notes for macOS Tahoe Developer Beta 8 don’t reveal anything we haven’t seen before. A known issue with AirPlay AutoMix song transitions remains an issue (it’s been on the list for a few beta versions) but there aren’t many changes of note.
The release notes for iOS and iPadOS 26 Developer Beta 8 tell a similar story.
As always, we don’t recommend installing the beta versions on devices you rely on. Beta software can be unstable and cause applications to crash or completely fail.
