Belkin has unveiled three new charging solutions, and four new additions to its SoundForm audio range at the annual IFA show in Belkin. The company says every Belkin mobile power device undergoes SmartProtect testing for uncompromising safety. The new releases are made with up to 85% post-consumer recycled plastic and come in 100% plastic-free packaging reinforcing the company’s commitment to reducing waste and building responsibly.
Faster wireless iPhone charging

Belkin’s new Qi2 25W certified wireless charger can take an empty iPhone battery to 50% in just 30 minutes, up to five times faster than standard Qi chargers. One of the criticisms of some wireless chargers is that they generate excess heat. Belkin has developed what it calls “ChillBoost” – a passive cooling technology.
It has an integrated kickstand for hands-free streaming, and a 2m tethered USB-C cable for added reach. The new Qi2 25W certified wireless charger is backed by a 2-year warranty plus a $2,500 Connected Equipment Warranty.

Charging for your larger portable devices

The new BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger comes in 50W and 67W options. And, with two USB-C ports, you can use one to charge a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air and the other for an iPhone, iPad, gaming console or other USB-C devices. It boasts near-zero standby power consumption (<5mW at 230V AC), making it as low impact as it is powerful.
Prices are $49.95 for the 50W version. An extra $10 gets you the 67W option. The product will be available locally in late September in retail, Amazon and Belkin.com/au.
Charging on the go

The new BoostCharge Retractable Car Charger is a 75W 2-port car charger with retractable USB-C cable is designed for high-speed charging on the road. It can charge up to three devices simultaneously with the 75cm retractable USB-C cable able to deliver up to 60W of power – enough for most laptops. The additional USB-C and USB-A ports keep phones, tablets, and other devices powered.
Belkin says its Intelligent Power Allocation ensures optimal charging for every connected device, and USB-C Power Delivery (PD) fast-charges iPhones along with a wide range of other USB-C–powered products.
